POCKET PICKER (4) ran below expectations last time at Tamworth, finishing eighth and beaten 3.5 lengths starting at 4/1. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. MAGIC SHOT (2) looks to kick off this prep the way he ended the last four months ago when he scored over 7¼f at Quirindi. Is lightly raced and looks forward enough after a solid recent trial. Nicely placed and expected to go well. CHOICE WITNESS (6) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid third at Bathurst over 5½f after she produced a huge finish. Generally takes a sit but the draw makes it tricky. Looks well placed this line-up so expect another big run. MENARI MISS (7) improved sharply last time out to score by a nose over 6f at Quirindi three-and-a-half weeks ago. Finds a suitable race and can feature prominently.
