MY UNCLE DID IT (9) recorded her maiden win six back and is ready to score again after a couple of recent minor placings, the latest when second at Colac. Has good early speed so should take up a forward position. Will prove tough to beat. FLASHLIGHT (1) finished 4. 5 lengths away in fifth last time out over 1m2f at Wangaratta after being in the firing line on the bend three weeks ago. Steps up in distance. Has good early toe so he should be handy in the run. Expected to be in the finish. COSMIC (12) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at Terang, finishing second and only 2 lengths from the winner at the end of 1m2 3/4f. Jack Hill is a key engagement. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. WHAT A CROSS (6) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m2f at Pakenham, beaten 3. 5 lengths into eighth. Well placed to turn things around.
