VILLA CAPITALISTA (5) found the line nicely last start to get up for third over 5f at Ballarat when coming back from a break. Will drift back but wind up late. One of the leading chances. STERNIN (14) showed good early dash and led for most of the way before fading to finish one length away in fifth over 5f at Ballarat. Sure to take running down. TRIPLE SPIRIT (16) ran well on debut last start to finish third over 5f at Wangaratta in a tougher race. Has plenty of upside so he is a strong chance. WEASEL SEA (15) is a three-year-old gelding on debut from the stable of Jason Warren. By Rubick from Aqueous. Looks forward enough after a Balnarring trial win. Worth watching for a betting push.
