PRESIDO PETE (6) missed the placings last time out over this distance at Canterbury Park (Dirt), beaten 0.5 lengths. Has a very strong record this course, scoring at three of four starts. Best form puts him right in this. EL CAPITAN LEW (5) gave a great sight last time over 1f130yards at this track when he raced up on the pace and fought on gamely only to be narrowly beaten. Has been in sound form this prep with a win and a placing from four starts. Sure to run well. MR DASH FIRE (3) was far from disgraced to finish 1.1 lengths away in fourth last start over 0f99yards at this track. That followed a when resuming win at this track. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he has the ability to bounce back. DIABOLICAL CLYDE (2) was returning from a break last time out and proved too classy, scoring by 0.3 lengths over 0f99yards at this track (Dirt). Open to plenty of improvement and is worth following up.
