PAYNTED BLUE (6) really dug deep to salute by half a length three runs back at Louisiana Downs (Turf) before filling a minor placing at his last two starts. Has good early toe so he should be handy in the run. Expecting a bold showing. COLONEL PUNCH (1) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 5½f at Sweetwater County Fair, beaten 5 lengths after being prominent at the bend. Beautifully placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. LET'S TIE ONE ON (5) was far from disgraced when second last start after being in contention on the corner over 5½f at Sweetwater County Fair, beaten one length. That followed a win at Sweetwater County Fair the start prior. Nicely placed to return to winning form. ARIZONA STEPHEN (2) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing fourth at this track (Dirt) over 6f. Placed to advantage and can run a better race.
