Well-placed and looks ready to fire. LANDAUER (2) settled well back last start and never threatened when 12 lengths from the winner in eighth over 1m1/2f at this track (Turf). The engagement of Katie Davis is a positive move. This is a nice drop in grade so he is likely to play a big role. FERAL'S JOY (9) lines up for the first time since June 29. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 1m1/2f at Monmouth Park. Hasn't scored when fresh from a break but generally races well with three minor placings. Can make his presence felt. MR MENDELSSOHN (6) ran below expectations last time at this track (Dirt), finishing fifth and beaten 17 lengths. Should be competitive in this suitable race.
