WINIT (2) finished off last campaign with a fifth over 1m at this track (Dirt) on March 8 and has since switched yards. Goes well when resuming from a lay-off, including three minor placings from five starts. Very hard to beat. STOLEN BASE (6) was beaten just 0.3 lengths last start when second in a small field over 6½f at this track (Dirt). Will be fitter for that run, looks likely to feature again. NOTAH (5) didn't make an impact at his last run before going for a lay-off on 30/10/2024, finishing 11th and beaten 13 lengths over 6½f at Churchill Downs (Dirt). Worth plenty of thought. SLIP MAHONEY (3) has not won for a long while. Last raced on June 8 when beaten 8 lengths into fifth at Saratoga (Dirt) over 1m. Has the talent to produce a better result.
