SHORT SHIFT (6) missed the placings two runs back then did well last start but found one better over 6f at this track, beaten only a nose after being in the firing line on the bend. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. SHAMAN PRINCESS (7) was in the firing line on the turn and progressed nicely last start to finish a close second over 7f at this track after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot find winning ways. EASTERN STAR (4) recorded a strong maiden win over 6f at this track (Dirt) last time, getting there by 2.75 lengths. Winning rider Jose Antonio Gomez stays aboard and she is right in the mix again. DREAM ON CARA (1) proved too strong two runs ago but was less impressive last time out when fourth over 6½f at this track, beaten 11 lengths. In contention this time.
