AMUNDSON (1) ran a bold race over this journey when resuming last start, racing on the pace and sticking on strongly to finish 3.5 lengths away in third at this track (Dirt). Ready to go a couple better. STEWIE (2) returned from a lay-off six weeks ago when he was beaten 17 lengths into fourth over 6f at this track. Has a solid second up record. Strips fitter and can figure prominently. EXCELLENT TIMING (5) was beaten 8 lengths into seventh over 6f at this track six weeks ago. Finds a nice race and can bounce back.
