Cherry-ripe now and is a great chance to break through. O P FIRECRACKER (3) finished fourth two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1m at this track, beaten 5.5 lengths. Nicely placed to play a pivotal role. MERIT (1) turned things around last start and landed the prize by 2.5 lengths after being in the firing line on the corner as public elect over 7f at Keeneland (Dirt). No reason he cannot salute again. WAKE SURF (7) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing sixth at this track (Dirt) over 6½f after he got a long way back in the run. Likely improver who should be about the mark.
