SPRING MAGIC (7) is closing in on a win after two consecutive placings, the latest a second over 6f at this track (Dirt). Has good early toe so she should be handy in the run. Will prove tough to beat. LADY JASMINE (3) improved sharply on her eighth two starts back at this track (Turf) with a win over 1m at Finger Lakes (Dirt) two-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by 0.3 lengths after being prominent at the turn. Meeting a tougher field but on her best form she is capable of testing her rivals. BELLE OF THE BALL (6) finished 4 lengths away in fourth last time out over 6f at this track after being in contention on the turn three-and-a-half weeks ago as 5/2 favourite. Steps up in journey. Can play a big role. STARRY MIDNIGHT (2) showed good early dash last start and held on well to finish 0.8 lengths back in second over 6f at Finger Lakes (Dirt). Finds a tougher race but a big run will not surprise.
