LA VESUVIUS (1) did a great job to score by a head over this course and distance when resuming from a lay-off last start. Meeting a deeper field this time but he is good enough to play a major role. STRIKE EAGLE (3) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with just three wins from 36 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fourth over 7f at this track, beaten 8 lengths. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is capable of a big performance. PROPHESIER (5) progressed nicely last time out to finish just a head from the winner in second over 7f at this track after being prominent at the corner. Steps up a level but he is good enough to figure in the finish. RUN AND TELL (6) sat on the pace last start until tiring to finish fifth, beaten 11 lengths, over 7f at this circuit. Not to be underestimated.
