RUMOURS ABOUND (6) started at 5/2 last time but could only manage seventh, beaten 4 lengths, at Canterbury over 5½f. Should be prominent despite the awkward gate. Among the leading chances. LOS PADRES (3) drifted well back last start before winding up strongly to finish third, beaten 0. 9 lengths, over 5½f at Randwick. Well placed to feature again. IRON WILL (5) has not won for a long while. Last raced on March 14 when beaten 2. 5 lengths into sixth at Gosford over 5½f after being in contention on the bend. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is right in contention. ONE HARD LADY (8) is having her first run since December 31. Goes very well when fresh with two wins from two starts, the latest over 4¾f at Moonee Valley at the start of last prep. Will strip fitter following a recent trial win. Sure to make her presence felt.
