TUSCANY (6) resumes from a lay-off of six months and is having his first outing under new trainer Tom Charlton. Finished seventh at Randwick Kensington over 5½f at the opening run last time in work. Fitter for a fourth in a recent trial over 3f148yards at Randwick. Sure to take some beating. COSMIC EAGLE (7) has put together back-to-back placings, the latest when half a length away in second over 6½f at Canberra. Needs to be at her best to beat this field but she good enough to play a major role. BORJNORD (2) was prominent from the outset on debut last start and held on well for second, beaten a nose, over 6f at Newcastle. Expected to feature with improvement to come. TRIUMVIRATE (17) resumes after 14 months and looks ready following a comfortable Kilmore trial win. Faces a far less daunting assignment this time. Well placed and expected to measure up. Among the better hopes.
