BROOKLYN LIGHTS (7) improved sharply on his 11th two starts back at Sapphire Coast with a win over 6½f at Moruya four weeks ago, getting home by 2. 75 lengths after being in contention on the bend. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot repeat the dose. IT'SBRUCE (12) wasn't far away when resuming last start when fourth over 6f at Echuca. May appreciate the longer journey with that run under the belt. Can go on with it. MY INSPIRATION (19) pushed forward from a wide draw last time and found the front, leading around the bend but capitulating to finish tenth over 7f at Gundagai. Definite winning hope. GRINZINGER NYX (16) turned in a modest performance when ninth last start over 7f at Echuca, beaten 7 lengths after a good when resuming win at Wagga. Worth another chance.
