COCO DE LUXE (9) drifted back then closed strongly to score as favourite on debut over 5½f at Echuca two-and-a-half weeks ago. Looks promising and can measure up again. SILVALOA (4) finished out of the money when fresh from a lay-off two starts back then he was always well out of his ground and was beaten 1. 5 lengths when fifth over 6f at Echuca two-and-a-half weeks ago. Taking on a better field but he is good enough to take this out. FAERIE (5) showed little early speed last start and failed to come on in the straight when sixth, beaten 4 lengths, over 5f at Cranbourne. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time. GURU TWO (2) has not won for a long while. Last raced on January 4 when beaten 4. 5 lengths into sixth at Wodonga over 6½f. Best figures measure up nicely. Capable of a strong performance.
