CHEROKEE MISS (3) finished ninth two runs back at Pinjarra then improved last time out to score by 2.5 lengths after being in the firing line on the corner over 1m1 1/2f at this track. Finds a suitable race and can go on to make it two in a row. VANCOUVER STORM (1) returned from a lay-off three-and-a-half weeks ago when he was beaten 3.5 lengths into sixth over 7f at Geraldton. Has been in the money at each second up start. Strips fitter and can feature. MAGIC MIKEY (6) did his best work late and finished third last time over 7½f at this track, beaten 1.3 lengths. Will trim down following recent racing. Nicely placed to run well again.
