Carlos Alcaraz is set to continue his bid for US Open glory on Thursday among a raft of matches scheduled for Thursday.
There is plenty of action to look forward to on either side of the singles draws.
Here we take a look at a handful of those matches and pick winners to help you put together your tennis accumulator.

US Open Women's: Patricia Maria Tig vs Jessica Pegula | Pick: Pegula
US Open Men's: Alexander Zverev vs Daniel Altmaier
Alexander Zverev and Daniel Altmaier will open up the increasingly infamous Court 17 at the USTA National Tennis Centre.
Zverev has already complained that the court 'smells like Snoop Dogg's living room' in reference to the smells wafting over the court from a nearby public park.
Zverev holds a 1-0 lead in the head-to-head between the two German players having beaten Altmaier at the Australian Open in 2022.
The winner of this match will go on to face either Andy Murray or Grigor Dimitrov in the Round of 32.
US Open Men's: Jack Draper vs Hubert Hurkacz
Hubert Hurkacz has overcome young Brit Jack Draper in both of their previous ATP Tour meetings.
Draper took Hurkacz the distance in their previous three-set meetings and will be out to put up a fight after an excellent first round for British players.
Hurkacz is understandably heavily favoured to come out on top in this contest as he sports a big power advantage.
Draper will have to move well and make the most of the fast US Open court.
US Open Men's: Lorenzo Sonego vs Jannik Sinner
Jannik Sinner will also be out to continue a dominant streak against Lorenzo Sonego.
Sinner has beaten his veteran compatriot in both of their meetings which have come this season.
A recent Masters champion, Sinner has become the outside pick for US Open glory for many.
Sonego has experience going for him but Sinner's game on a fast court should be too much for even the Sonegoat.
US Open Men's: Andy Murray vs Grigor Dimitrov
Andy Murray has a Bulgarian mountain to climb in the second round ion the form of 19th seed Grigor Dimitriov.
While history favours Murray in no uncertain terms as he has won eight of their 11 meetings, the issue for the Scot is his present condition.
Dimitrov is still one of the most energetic players on tour and Murray will need to be clinical to have any hope of victory.
For his part Dimtrov probably didn't want to face Murray at this stage either.
US Open Men's: Carlos Alcaraz vs Lloyd Harris
Carlos Alcaraz is out to continue his US Open winning streak into a ninth match when he faces South Africa's Lloyd Harris.
Harris would do well to keep Alcaraz on court for as long as possible and barring some physical malady the Spaniard should come out on top.
This will be the first meeting between the players with Harris largely absent from the tour during Alcaraz's ascension.
US Open Women's: Yafan Wang vs Katie Boulter
British No 1 Katie Boulter will be eyeing the third appearance in the third round of a Grand Slam and her best performance at a US Open.
Yafan Wang is a former top 50 player who stunned France's Caroline Garcia in the first round after coming through qualifying.
On paper Boulter should have a slight edge but you cannot discount what beating a top ten player will do for Wang.
Conversely, Wang might suffer from the dreaded big win hangover that often afflicts players of her level.
US Open Women's: Jodie Anna Burrage vs Aryna Sabalenka
While Burrage is chasing a new career-high ranking she faces an opponent with title aspirations.
Aryna Sabalenka has another afternoon match in the sweltering New York summer conditions.
Sabalenka is a player prone to the odd misfire when it comes to her serve but if she operates at her best there should be no doubt of the winner.
This would be the biggest win of Burrage's career to date by far.
US Open Women's: Ons Jabeur vs Linda Noskova
Ons Jabeur will be out for revenge when she faces Linda Noskova for the first time since losing a three-setter to the Czech in Adelaide.
Noskova will take confidence from that result but will also remember how close she came to defeat.
Jabeur is aslo looking to vanquish the ghosts of her painful Wimbledon final loss.
Noskova has been in decent form of late reaching the final of her home event in Prague but her successes have come in tournaments bereft of big names.
US Open Women's: Daria Kasatkina vs Sofia Kenin
Daria Kasatkina has the chance to level up her head-to-head record with former Grand Slam champion Sofie Kenin.
Kasatkina lost her first two meetings with Kenin but got the better of her in Sydney last year.
Kenin is out to soar back up the rankings after an injury plagued few years.
While Kenin has the quality to trouble Kasatkina, the Russian should have the game to reach the third round.
US Open Women's: Patricia Maria Tig vs Jessica Pegula
American No 1 Jessica Pegula is the main event on Thursday but that means a bit of a late start.
Pegula might have benefitted from the faster court and oppressive humidity but the evening match doesn't tip the scales that much.
Pegula has never met Patricia Tig in singles competition.
Tig battled past Canadian Rebecca Marino but needed to win a pair of tiebreakers to do so while Pegula breezed past Camila Giorgi to gain the Round of 64.
