The American No 1 Taylor Fritz will meet Andy Murray on Friday 4 August at the Citi Open.
The US Open season is now well underway and players are desperate to build momentum.
Both races to the season finals are also quite open and every rankings point could be vital.
Here we take a look at a handful of matches slated to go down on Friday 4 August to help assemble an accumulator.
ATP Kitzbuhel:
Tomas Martin Etcheverry vs Sebastian Baez | Pick: Etcheverry
ATP Los Cabos:
Stefanos Tsitsipas vs Nicolas Jarry | Pick: Tsitsipas
ATP Los Cabos:
Borna Coric vs Ilya Ivashka | Pick: Coric
ATP Washington:
Taylor Fritz vs Andy Murray | Pick: Fritz
WTA Washington:
Belinda Bencic vs Coco Gauff | Pick: Gauff
WTA Prague:
Jaqueline Cristian vs Kateryna Baindl | Pick: Baindl
WTA Prague:
Alize Cornet vs Tamara Korpatsch | Pick: Cornet
ATP Kitzbuhel: Tomas Martin Etcheverry vs Sebastian Baez
Tomas Martin Etcheverry and Sebastian Baez play their seventh professional meeting having evenly split the past six.
Etcheverry won the last of those six meetings when they clashed in Santiago.
Etcheverry is the higher-ranked player and the man in the slightly better form right now.
A place in the final awaits the winner of this clash and would be a massive moment for either player.
ATP Los Cabos: Stefanos Tsitsipas vs Nicolas Jarry
Stefanos Tsitsipas is out to keep his charge towards another title going when he faces Nicolas Jarry.
Jarry holds a 2-1 lead in the rivalry between the players, but Tsitsipas has a win over the Chilean this season at Monte Carlo.
Tsitsipas and Jarry have not met on a hard court before and the suspicion is that it will be the Greek who has the edge.
Tsitsipas has the shot-making and defensive abilities to best Jarry's power game.
ATP Los Cabos: Borna Coric vs Ilya Ivashka
Borna Coric and Ilya Ivashka meet for the first time in their careers in a big match in Los Cabos.
Coric usually enjoys the North American hard court swing at this time of year as evidenced by his Masters title last term.
Ivashka has struggled for hard court form this season and will likely find Coric a tough nut to crack.
Coric has had an indifferent season but could kickstart his efforts with a deep run here.
ATP Washington: Taylor Fritz vs Andy Murray
Taylor Fritz and Andy Murray meet in a Washington blockbuster clash that should draw the crowds.
Fritz has the serve to blow Murray off the court if he can find his radar early and get a high percentage of first serves in.
Murray is likely to have to live on scraps but could still be dangerous if he gets too many looks at that second serve.
Fritz beat Murray in the only previous meeting between the players.
WTA Washington: Belinda Bencic vs Coco Gauff
Gauff should be motivated to get one back on Bencic in their head to head rival after the Swiss beat her in their first meeting.
Belinda Bencic will be out to snuff out a home hope in Coco Gauff when she takes to the court at the Citi Open.
Bencic has had to play an extra match to reach the last eight and that could be crucial.
Gauff needs to be resilient and try to take the game deep if Bencic gets on top early.
WTA Prague: Jaqueline Cristian vs Kateryna Baindl
Kateryna Baindl seems to hold a slim edge over Jaqueline Cristian having beaten her in their only previous meeting.
Baindl was fortunate to have her last 16 opponent retire meaning she has had to exert herself far less in Prague this week.
There isn't much to choose in the ranking with 24 places separating the players ahead of this week.
Baindl seems on course to rise further into the top 100 but will have to work hard to achieve a new career-high before the end of the year.
WTA Prague: Alize Cornet vs Tamara Korpatsch
Alize Cornet has played herself into good touch in Prague but faces a tricky opponent next up.
Tamara Korpatsch came through qualifying but saw off an injured Yanina Wickmayer in the previous round, albeit via a retirement.
Cornet by contrast has had to battle through a pair of three-set encounters that have tested her game to the limit.
That said it is Cornet that has the greater WTA pedigree and should come through.
