Miami Open battling Mother Nature: Murray and Sinner's matches halted by rain

Severe downpours in Miami have wreaked havoc on the Miami Open schedule, with Andy Murray and Jannik Sinner among a host of players who had their second-round matches suspended due to rain.

Murray will resume play on Saturday against Argentina's Tomas Etcheverry with the score tied at 3-3 in the first set.

Australian Open champion Sinner leads 3-2 in the first set against fellow Italian Andrea Vavassori, while Canada's Denis Shapovalov holds a 3-2 advantage in the first set over Greek 10th seed Stefanos Tsitsipas.

In Friday's completed matches, 14th seed Ugo Humbert defeated Botic van de Zandschulp 6-4 6-3 and Tomas Machac of the Czech Republic upset fifth seed Andrey Rublev 6-4 6-4.
