Day three guide - Selected women's matches
(All times subject to change)
Lucia Bronzetti vs Ons Jabeur (7) Tuesday 30 May, 10.45am
The seventh-seeded Jabeur is one of the dark horses for the tournament, but she will have to be near her best against Bronzetti, who comes into the tournament in some decent form, having won in Rabat while dropping just two sets.
Bronzetti, ranked 50th, has won eight of her last nine matches and seldom get outclassed completely. In fact, none of her last 10 defeats have been in straight sets.
Jabeur comes into the match after consecutive defeats to Paula Badosa and Iga Swiatek - but the Tunisian should be too strong for Bronzetti, although it would be no surprise if she drops a set.
Suggested bets
Bronzetti to win the first set
Jabeur to lose the first set in a tie-break
Bronzetti to win first set 6-4
Set Score prediction: Jabeur to win in three sets
Rebeka Masarova vs Coco Gauff (6) Tuesday 30 May, 12pm
Masarova is enjoying something of a breakout year, reaching her first main tour final in Auckland this year, and comes into her first French Open with seven wins in her last 10 games on clay.
Sixth-seeded Gauff, meanwhile, has had an inconsistent year so far although her winning percentage at the French Open is the best of any of the Grand Slams.
The American also has plenty of big-match temperament and after beating Masarova in their only previous meeting, where she dropped just two games when they met in the final in Auckland. Expect something similar in Tuesday's match.
Suggested bets
Gauff to win the first set
Masarova to get bagled in first set
Set Score prediction: Gauff to win in straight sets
Victoria Azarenka (18) vs Bianca Andreescu Tuesday 30 May, 15:15
This will be the first time Azarenka and Andreescu meet in what is a match of players on opposite side of their careers. Azarenka once reached the semi-final here - back in 2013 - while Andreescu's best performance was the second round last year.
Now 33 years of age, former world number one Azarenka isn't in the best form of her career and has a 2-2 record on clay this year.
Nevertheless, she reached the semis at the Australian Open, so still has some of her old magic.
The 23-year-old Canadian, meanwhile, is yet to win a match on clay this year and it's hard to see the world number 42 posing much of a threat to her Belarusian opponent.
