    Colombia vs Brazil verdict

Brazil will have a tough away game against Colombia, having only won one point in their previous two qualifiers against Venezuela (1-1) and Uruguay (0-2).

Colombia, on the other hand, are on a 15-game unbeaten run. They picked up two points in the previous international break and were unfortunate not to claim all six.

Los Cafeteros conceded a 91st-minute equaliser in a 2-2 draw against Uruguay. In their second match, Luis Diaz missed a penalty in a 0-0 draw with Ecuador.

In contrast, Brazil lost their previous match against Uruguay by a score of 0-2 as the five-time world champions failed to record a single shot on target in Montevideo.

They previously dropped points in a 1-1 draw at home to Ecuador, leaving them vulnerable with seven points in the group.

The team led by Tite has seven points and are five points behind their rivals Argentina, a team they will face in their next game after their trip to Colombia.

Colombia and Argentina are the only two unbeaten teams in qualifying so it’s clear this will be a very tricky test for Brazil.

Brazil are facing an injury crisis with several key players unavailable. Neymar, Casemiro, Gabriel Jesus and Richarlison are ruled out.

Brazil have conceded a goal in nine of their previous ten games while they haven’t been free-scoring themselves.

It should be a game of fine margins in Barranquilla so it’s worth noting that six of the previous seven meetings were all square at the break.
