Wolves vs Bournemouth tips and predictions: Small margins at Molineux as hosts look to end drought

Wolves will be looking to snap their winless run when they welcome Bournemouth to Molineux this Wednesday night (1945 BST).

If we’re being entirely honest, this isn’t the most attractive fixture on offer this midweek… or any midweek for that matter.

Wolves against Bournemouth is a fixture featuring two mid-table teams with nothing to play for. What’s more, both are out of form.

The one bit of motivation for Wolves boss Gary O’Neil - apart from being a former Bournemouth manager - will be the pursuit of his first win since early March.

Wolves are currently winless in six matches across all competitions – five of those in the Premier League.

Bournemouth aren’t exactly firing on all cylinders themselves. Andoni Iraola’s men are winless across their last three outings, with the Cherries suffering a 3-1 defeat to Aston Villa in their most recent fixture.

Looking at this match from a betting perspective, we prefer the look of Wolves.

Home advantage is one thing, but O’Neil’s men also have an impressive head-to-head record against their upcoming rivals.

Wolves have lost just one of their last seven matches against the Cherries – picking up four victories along the way.

With that in mind, we’re backing both teams to find the back of the net but Wolves to come away as the winners by a single goal margin.

Team news

Wolves are without Jeanricner Bellegarde, Leon Chiwome, Matheus Cunha, Craig Dawson, Noha Lemina and Pedro Neto.

Bournemouth, on the other hand, are missing Romain Faivre, Ryan Fredericks, Luis Sinisterra and Marcus Tavernier.
