Rotherham are winless in six meetings with Cardiff City, with the Bluebirds winning three of their last four trips to New York Stadium.

Cardiff's recent upturn in away form has helped them pull three points clear of the relegation zone.

Conor Washington (knee), Bailey Wright (ligament), Grant Hall (hamstring) and Sean Morrison (thigh) are all unavailable for the hosts.

Callum Robinson (hamstring), Ebou Adams (leg), Ryan Allsop (thigh) and Jamilu Collins (ACL) are out, but Connor Wickham and Rubin Colwill could both return for Cardiff.

Meanwhile, Cardiff are looking to extend their 22-year stay in English football's top two divisions and their recent improvement in away form has given them a good platform to achieve that.

They followed up a surprise 3-1 victory away to Watford with a valuable point at home against Stoke. The Welsh side have finally found their scoring boots and have won two of their previous three away matches.

Connor Wickham, Joe Ralls, Sory Kaba, Kion Etete and Cedric Kipre have all found the net at least once and they will fancy their chances of adding to their tallies against a leaky Millers side.

Rotherham have allowed 14 of their last 16 visitors to score at least once, conceding 26 goals in that time. Despite this, they have picked up five wins and have averaged 1.5 goals per game.

Both sides can feel safe in the knowledge they likely need just three points from their remaining three games to secure survival. With Reading set to face Huddersfield and Wigan in their final two, they may already have enough points.

Neither side has much to fear here and we've seen some cracking games at the New York Stadium this season. Cardiff rarely keep a clean sheet on their travels so backing both teams to score is a good starting point.
