Real Betis vs Rangers tips and predictions: Back Manuel Pellegrini’s side to confirm top spot

Rangers could seal first place in their Europa League group with a victory away to Real Betis, but a defeat leaves them exposed to crashing out of the top two.
Depending on other results, Real Betis can finish in any of the top three spots in the group, meaning that they will continue to compete in Europe regardless of the outcome.
Rangers are in a similar position, as they are second in the group, one point behind Betis and two points ahead of third-placed Sparta Prague.
Following a 1-1 draw against Real Madrid, Betis will be looking to continue their strong form and currently sit in seventh place in La Liga, three points off the European places.
In contrast, Rangers are in second place in the league, with 37 points, five points behind the leader Celtic but with a game in hand.
This season, the Spanish team has yet to lose a home match. In all competitions, they have seven wins and three draws in ten games played at Benito Villamarin. They have also only lost three of their last fifteen home games in the Europa League.
In European competitions, Rangers have played 19 away games since the 2021/2022 season, with only two wins to show for their efforts.
The team from Glasgow has yet to win an away game in their current European campaign, drawing two and losing two.
Betis played only three other games against Scottish clubs, losing twice and winning once. The lone victory came at home against Celtic in the 2021/22 Europa League season.
Rangers have played against Spanish teams no less than 28 times, winning only six of those and losing 14, while eight games ended as a draw.
