Netherlands vs France tips and predictions: Expect goals at the Johan Cruyjff Arena

Can the Netherlands stop a relentless France side in their tracks at the Johan Cruyjff Arena on Friday night (1945 BST)?

Netherlands vs France is, on paper, one of the most attractive games in the Euro 2024 qualifiers.

Les Bleus pretty much nailed down first place in the group after the first game, when they managed to win at home against The Clockwork Orange 4-0.

Now the World Cup finalists will travel to the Johan Cruyjff Arena in Amsterdam looking to continue their perfect record in the qualifiers.

After the 4-0 win against Netherlands at Stade de France in March, Didier Deschamps' side have claimed four consecutive wins - two against Ireland as well as wins over Gibraltar and Greece all without conceding a goal.

Only a 2-1 loss to Germany in a friendly in September has blotted an impressive run of results that last saw a normal time defeat back in November 2022 against Tunisia in the World Cup.

Despite the defeat to France, the Netherlands have won the last three games in the Euro 2024 qualifiers, which should see them finish second in the group, with a game in hand on Greece in third on the same points.

Netherlands managed a win in Ireland in their last game after coming back from behind but it wasn't pretty. Heavy Nations Cup defeats to Italy and Croatia in the summer show that this Dutch side can leak goals , so don't expect it to get any easier against France.

But at the other end they have scored two goals or more in the last eight games of the last nine games in all competitions.

France have managed to find the back of the net in their previous 10 games.

The two sides have faced each other 29 times in total, and France holds the advantage with 15 wins, while Netherlands have 11. Only three games have ended in a draw.

The Netherlands last beat France at home in November 2018 in the Nations League.

Les Blues front three that day was Kylian Mbappe, Olivier Giroud and Antoine Griezmann so hardly shabby and the Dutch could conjure something up.on Friday night.

Suggested bets:

Both teams to score and over 2.5
Draw no bet France
