Look away now Bournemouth fans, Planet Sport Bet's Robbie Savage is predicting another thrashing at the hands of champions Manchester City.

The last time Bournemouth took a point off Manchester City was back in 1999.

In that season, Manchester City came to Macclesfield Town, as it was then, and got an 86th minute winner from Shaun Goater. Look at what has happened to Manchester City and look at what has happened to Macclesfield since then.

Last season Man City put eight goals through Bournemouth, with Bournemouth getting one.

I think it'll be a 5-0 win to Manchester City. Foden has got three in three against Bournemouth. Haaland only got one of those eight goals last season.

I think Haaland for a brace in a 5-0 win for Manchester City.

Robbie’s tip: Man City 5-0 Bournemouth

    Team news:

Kevin De Bruyne is the only long-term absentee for City, while Manuel Akanji returns from a one-game suspension.

Bournemouth are less than fortunate when it comes to its first team squad with as many as six players possibly missing.

Lewis Cook is suspended following his recent red card against Wolves, while Ryan Fredericks and Emiliano Marcondes won't be risked despite making improvements in their recovery from injury. Neto (ankle) and Tyler Adams (thigh) are also out.

Reserve keeper Darren Randolph is also a doubt with an illness.

    Key stats:

    - City not lost to Bournemouth in 19 meetings (17W, 2 D)

    - City pout eight past Bournemouth last season (1-4, 4-0)

    - Haaland only scored one of those eight, but Foden has three in three against them

    - Last time Bournemouth got a point off City it was Feb 1999 in League 2

    Other suggested Planet Sport bets:

Perhaps some famous last words, but there’s no way Bournemouth concede fewer than four goals here, is there? Robbie’s gone for five, we think six is a possibility.

The Cherries did make a good fist of Anfield earlier in the season, but we’ve yet to see Liverpool score four in a league game.

Man City beat Man Utd 3-0 at the weekend and racked up an expected goals value of 4.00. Days earlier against Young Boys, they created 4.25xG.

The common theme was both of those sides tried to fight fire with fire but lacked both the quality and the execution of their game plan.

That should sound familiar to Bournemouth fans. It’s (somewhat) clear what Andoni Iraola is trying to do and it’s just as clear it isn’t working.

Only Sheffield United (23.7) have a worse xG against value than Bournemouth (21.9). It’s surprising to see City over 2.5 goals and City over 3.5 goals at such a high price.

Man City to win and over 3.5 goals is also a nice price considering Bournemouth could well score, although they are averaging just 0.8 goals per game.

The handicap seems to have been set far too late at -2.5 and last but not least, Erling Haaland to score two or more is possible.

Man City win and over 3.5 goals
