Fulham welcome Burnley to Craven Cottage this Saturday afternoon as Marco Silva’s men set their sights on the top 10 in the Premier League.

Upon first viewing, I agree with you, this isn’t one of the classic fixtures that the Premier League has to offer. All I’m asking is for 10 paragraphs of your attention, to see if I can change your mind.

Strangely, Fulham against Burnley is a fixture that may provide more drama than any other match in the Premier League this Saturday. Yes, I am serious.

Let’s start with the hosts. The Cottagers have been all over the shop since November, scoring and conceding goals for fun.

Since their 3-1 loss to Aston Villa, Fulham went on to beat Wolves 3-2, lost to Liverpool 4-3 and then picked up back-to-back 5-0 victories over Nottingham Forest and West Ham.

A 3-0 loss against Newcastle followed, though Silva’s men were able to bounce back with a win over Everton in the Carabao Cup quarter-final.

To sum things up, the last few weeks have been rather mad.

Burnley, on the other hand, thought they turned a corner when they thrashed Sheffield United 5-0 at the start of December. Since then, they were beaten by Wolves and Everton, and picked up a solitary point away at Brighton.

Couple together Fulham’s unpredictability with Burnley’s desperation and I believe we’re in for a treat this Saturday.

Over 3.5 goals is the way to go, in what should be a barn-stormer.

Fulham to win and both teams to score is also an enticing option in the betting.

    Team news

Fulham will be without the suspended Raul Jimenez and injured Adama Traore. Tim Ream is questionable and could miss Saturday’s fixture.

Burnley won’t be able to count on the injured duo of Johann Gudmundsson and Luca Koleosho. Jack Cork and Aaron Ramsey are doubts and could also miss out.
