Everton vs Brighton tips and predictions: Goals galore at Goodison Park

Everton's Dominic Calvert-Lewin
Goals could be on the cards again as Brighton travel to Everton on Saturday afternoon, at least that's what Planet Sport Bet's Robbie Savage is expecting.
Well this game last season involved goals. Remember Everton went there and won 5-1, but then Brighton beat Everton 4-1 earlier in the season. So 11 goals in the last two games.
So I expect goals and there’s goals in Brighton’s games. Calvert-Lewin also scored a wonderful goal against West Ham.
So I think Calvert-Lewin will get on the scoresheet again and I'm going to go for a 3-2 Everton win.
Robbie’s tip: Everton 3-2 Brighton

Team news:
Everton have no fresh injury concerns ahead of the clash at Goodison Park, Ashley Young is available after serving a one-match ban.
Seamus Coleman is making his way back to full fitness from a knee injury, but won't be risked on Saturday, while Andre Gomes (calf) and Dele (groin) are still out.
Brighton also have no new injury worries. Jakub Moder and Julio Enciso (both knee) are close to a return, while Danny Welbeck and Solly March are still out.
Tariq Lamptey and Pervis Estupinan could be back in the first-team squad.
Key stats:
- This fixture hasn’t served up a draw in four meetings
- Last season Brighton lost 1-5 at home to Everton, but beat the Toffees 4-1 at Goodison
- Everton going for third win on the trot, which they haven’t done since 2021
Other suggested Planet Sport bets:
Everton have finally found their feet under Sean Dyche. After a typically blunt start, the Toffees have won five of seven in all competitions.
Not since April of 2021 has Dominic Calvert-Lewin featured in eight consecutive matchday squads and his contribution of four goals and an assist has been crucial.
On the other hand, Evan Ferguson has scored five for Brighton despite missing several fixtures due to injury.
Dyche’s side suddenly have a structure and an outlet and the overall shape of the team has allowed them to keep three clean sheets in four.
Keeping Brighton out is unlikely but this fixture has thrown up some unexpected scorelines in recent seasons.
Everton won 5-1 at the AMEX late last season and beat Brighton 4-2 at Goodison Park three seasons ago. They were beaten 4-1 and 3-2 in between those fixtures.
Brighton have kept just one clean sheet in 15 in all competitions so both teams to score looks nailed on. Equally, 11 of those games have had over 2.5 goals.
If you’re looking for a big price then both teams to score in both halves is going to land in a Brighton game eventually.
Last but not least, note that Everton are the underdog in the corner match bet market. While the Toffees average nearly six per game, Brighton average just two on their travels.
Over 2.5 goals and both teams score
