Spain’s pursuit of their fourth European Championship title continues on Monday night in Dusseldorf as La Roja battle with Albania (2000 BST).
The Spaniards were the first team to book their spot in the Last-16 stage after winning their first two games in the group. Clearly Luis de La Fuente’s men are in a rush.
In truth, La Roja couldn’t have pictured a better start. In Croatia and Italy, the Spaniards took on two European powerhouses and come out with six points, four goals scored, and none conceded.
Looking at those numbers, it’s hard to give Albania any hope – no matter how much the author of this article likes them.

Sylvinho’s men lost their opening match of the tournament 2-1 against Italy before drawing 2-2 with Croatia.
Interestingly, they went from scoring the fastest goal in Euros history against Italy, to bagging a 95th minute equaliser against the Croats.
When it comes to battling the Spanish, we don’t think Albania will get anywhere near a goal.
Spain are on a whole different level and have arguably been the most impressive side so far in this entire tournament.
While Albania will give this a good go, we’re backing the Spaniards to bank all three points with room to spare.
