Crystal Palace vs Fulham tips: Eagles backed to soar in London derby

Crystal Palace's Eberechi Eze

Planet Sport Bet ambassador Robbie Savage doesn't expect a high-scoring London derby at Selhurst Park, but he is backing the Eagles to edge the Cottagers.

I don’t think there will be many goals. Ninth against tenth but Crystal Palace are slight favourites because their last 12 home games in the Premier League, they’ve only lost two.

Those two defeats came against Manchester City and Arsenal. On that basis, this is a game that Palace will look to win. I’m going for a 1-0 win to Crystal Palace.

Robbie’s Pick: Crystal Palace 1-0 Fulham

Team News

Crystal Palace will be without Jefferson Lerma, Matheus Franca, Michael Olise and James Tomkins for the home clash with Fulham.

Jordan Ayew and Marc Guehi are doubt and could return to Roy Hodgson's side.

The Cottagers, on the other hand, won't be able to count on the injured trio of Tosin Adarabioyo, Steven Benda and Antonee Robinson. There are also doubts over Sasa Lukic.

Key stats

- Crystal Palace are winless in their last three games against Fulham

- Fulham have only won one of their last 20 away Premier League London derbies

- Crystal Palace lost just two of their last 12 Premier League games at Selhurst Park

- Fulham beat Palace 3-0 on their last visit to Selhurst Park

Other suggested bets from Planet Sport

Crystal Palace will be looking to bounce back from last weekend's 3-1 defeat to Aston Villa when they welcome Fulham to Selhurst Park.

The Eagles have made a decent start to their Premier League campaign, picking up seven points from their opening five outings.

Fulham have also amassed seven points - with three of them coming courtesy of a 1-0 victory over Luton last weekend.

Few are expecting a goal fest in south London, though Palace will fancy their chances considering their strong record at home.

Hodgson's side have lost just two of their last 12 Premier League games at Selhurst Park. The only blemishes on that record were dealt by Arsenal and Manchester City.

With that in mind, we're backing the hosts to win the match and move their points total to double digits. Palace to win by one goal is the way to go in this one.

Crystal Palace to win by one goal
