Burnley vs Crystal Palace tips and predictions: Clarets can take advantage of Palace at Turf Moor

Vincent Kompany
Planet Sport Bet's Robbie Savage believes Burnley might be able to gather a crucial three points against an out-of-form Crystal Palace side on Saturday afternoon.
Burnley have got to start winning games, only four points in the Premier League and deep in a relegation battle.
When the fixtures came out these are the games that Vincent Kompany and his side would have loved to have taken points, no question about it. Palace, they could do with a win as well.
At Turf Moor I think Burnley have to win this one. Can I see them doing it? It's a real tough one to call.
Crystal Palace in transition on the counter-attack will be good. But I just think at Turf Moor, Burnley will nick this one, 1-0.
Robbie’s tip: Burnley 1-0 Crystal Palace

Team news:
Burnley will be without Josh Cullen who serves a one-match suspension, while Michael Obafemi (hamstring) and Hjalmar Ekdal (knee) are both out.
Illness has kept Lyle Foster out of the last two games and he is still a doubt for Saturday.
Jordan Beyer (knock) and Manuel Benson (ankle) are also set for late fitness tests.
The match could come too soon for Crystal Palace pair Eberechi Eze and Michael Olise who are on the road to recovery.
Dean Henderson (thigh), James Tomkins (calf) and Nathan Ferguson (muscle) are all still out.
Key stats:
- Burnley not lost to Palace in five (3W, 2D)
- Burnley no clean sheet in six
- Drew both times they met in 2021/22 season
Other Planet Sport bets to consider:
This isn’t the most glamorous affair but it is a golden opportunity for both sides to pick up three crucial points.
Home games against teams in the bottom half will be crucial for Burnley, so Clarets fans will be pleased to know they’re unbeaten in five against Crystal Palace.
Roy Hodgson recently masterminded a 1-0 win over Man Utd at Old Trafford which was sandwiched between 0-0 draws against Fulham and Nottingham Forest.
Eight of the previous 11 meetings have been decided to nil, with 1-0 being the most common scoreline.
Backing under 2.5 goals and betting against both teams to score appeals.
Burnley cannot afford to give away easy goals at the rate at which they’ve been doing and so we may see a controlled approach from both sides early on.
Burnley have scored just two first-half goals at Turf Moor, while Palace have scored one on their travels.
Under 0.5 goals looks probable while a bet on both exactly zero goals and exactly one goal could potentially guarantee half a unit of profit if you were to bravely back both.
Neither of these sides have a prolific scorer in their ranks, and this feels like a game that could be decided by a scrappy goal off a corner. You'll get chunky odds on Dara O'Shea, or any defender netting.
