We've picked out four top tips for our Monday Night Football bet builder as Brighton welcome Liverpool to the AMEX Stadium.

Brighton welcome Premier League champions Liverpool to the Amex Stadium on Monday night for their final home fixture of the campaign, and while the Reds are already planning their title party, the Seagulls still have work to do.

Fabian Hurzeler’s side is chasing a top-half finish and could yet sneak into Europe if other results go their way. Their 2-0 win at Wolves last weekend showed there’s still fight in the camp, with Joao Pedro back from suspension and Danny Welbeck reaching double figures for the season.

Brighton’s recent form is mixed, but they’ve collected seven points from the last nine available and have only lost one of their previous seven league games at home.

Liverpool, by contrast, are coasting towards the finish line. Since thrashing Spurs to wrap up the title, they’ve suffered a 3-1 defeat at Chelsea and let a two-goal lead slip to draw 2-2 with Arsenal.

Arne Slot has used the opportunity to rest and rotate, while he and the squad took some well-earned downtime in Dubai and Ibiza this week. The serious business is over.

That party mood could make for a lively watch. Both sides are unlikely to approach this with the intensity of a must-win, which could open things up nicely for goal backers.

Both teams to score and over 2.5 goals looks a strong starting point at around 4/5. These two have served up entertaining contests in recent seasons, with each of the last five meetings seeing both sides find the net.

The reverse fixture at Anfield ended 2-1 to Liverpool, while a 3-2 EFL Cup tie at the Amex earlier in the season only reinforces the case.

Over 3.5 goals is also worth considering at 13/10. Liverpool’s last three league matches have all gone over that line, and Brighton have seen three of their last five do the same.

With attacking talent on both sides and defensive rotations expected, it would be no surprise to see another high scorer.

Joao Pedro to score anytime offers value if he starts. He returns from suspension and has been a key figure for Brighton this season. Given Liverpool’s shaky defensive record since sealing the title, there could be joy for Brighton’s number nine.

For the more adventurous, both teams to score in both halves is available at big odds and isn’t without merit. This is a fixture that has delivered goals in bunches, and with pressure off both sides, we could see another thriller on the South Coast.
