Arsenal vs Bournemouth tips and predictions: Goal scoring Gunners to keep pace in title race

Arsenal’s Premier League title challenge continues this weekend as they welcome Bournemouth to the Emirates Stadium (1230 BST).

In the words of the great Glenn Frey, ‘the heat is on’. In order to give themselves the best chance of winning the Premier League title, Arsenal need to keep their foot planted on the gas pedal and continue to win.

Should they prevail in their final three games, that may still not be enough to end Man City’s iron grip over the Premier League trophy.

But before we look too far ahead, Mikel Arteta and his men will be solely focused on Bournemouth.

The Cherries certainly can’t be taken lightly. Andoni Iraola’s men have enjoyed a tremendous season and are sitting level on points with Chelsea. An amazing feat considering how little they have spent compared with the Blues.

Bournemouth will arrive at the Emirates following back-to-back wins over Wolves and Brighton – a three goals to nil win over the Seagulls may we add.

Arsenal, on the other hand, are targeting their fourth straight success. Their last win came in the North London derby as they beat Tottenham 3-2 away from home.

While the Cherries will provide a tricky test, Arsenal’s confidence, quality and desire should get them over the line.

The stakes are high and for the last couple of weeks, the desire shown by the Gunners has been unquestionable.

With that in mind, we’re backing the hosts to win the match 3-1 in the correct score market.

Kai Havertz has scored three goals in his last two games and we’re backing him to bag another one in the anytime market.

Team news

Jurrien Timber is the only injury worry for Arsenal ahead of the match as the Dutchman lacks match fitness.

Bournemouth, meanwhile, will be missing Romain Faivre, Ryan Fredericks, Luis Sinisterra and Marcus Tavernier.
