Real Madrid's Vinicius Junior is known for his fiery attitude on the field, but concerns are rising about his mentality.
In the 2-0 La Liga victory at Athletic Club on Sunday night, the 22-year-old forward struggled to win battles on the left side and was more notable for his altercations with opposing players.
Coach Carlo Ancelotti complained that Vinicius is constantly targeted by opponents and fans, calling for more respect.
These altercations have become a recurring theme for Vinicius this season, earning him a reputation among other players and fans.
Some reports suggest that when playing away from Santiago Bernabeu, Vinicius is unable to exert the same level of influence on the game and instead gets bogged down in battles.
Since August, Vinicius has not scored or assisted away from home in La Liga, becoming a chronic issue for Madrid.
Ancelotti will have to find a way to channel Vinicius' temper in order to avoid him being targeted by opposing players.
