Transfer Zone: Arsenal handed boost as price tag for striker dropped to £45m

Arsenal are hoping to make a double swoop, Marcus Rashford confirms his Man United future and Jesse Lingard is enjoying life as a free agent.

Jesse Lingard is on the hunt for a new team after being unable to work out a new deal with boyhood club Manchester United.

The England international has been linked with a return to West Ham while Roma and Atletico Madrid also appear interested in securing his signature.

Lingard is currently on holiday and has been spotted hanging out with 'bros' Ronaldinho and Neymar in Miami.

When we say hanging out, we mean asking for photos to share on Instagram.

Arsenal are hoping to sign a forward this summer following the departures of Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Gabriel Jesus is their number one target and according to reports, they can now sign him for £10m cheaper than first thought.

Sunsport are claiming that Manchester City have dropped their asking price from £55m to £45 although they are in competition with six other clubs, including Tottenham and Chelsea who will both be playing Champions League football next season.

One player Arsenal are favourites for is Leicester City midfielder Youri Tielemans for £25m, and is a 'priority' for the Gunners.

The Times have revealed that Marcus Rashford has decided to turn down a move to Tottenham.

While the England forward managed just five goals last term, it is believed Antonio Conte is a big admirer of him.

However, Rashford apparently wants to get his career back on track by fighting for his place under Erik ten Hag.

Although this tweet says 'negotiating a deal for Rashford is virtually impossible'. We knew Daniel Levy would get involved somehow to sabotage the transfer.
Divock Origi will join Olivier Giroud at AC Milan after Liverpool confirmed he will leave the club on a free transfer.
While he may never have been the main man under Jurgen Klopp, Reds fans all around the world will never forget this...
Bernardo Silva's dream of playing for Barcelona could become a reality following Xavi's interest.
There is one problem though - they can't afford him. That is unless they sell Frankie de Jong to Manchester United.
De Jong may be a player who can improve United but we agree with this tweet, to be honest.
