Sebastian Kehl comments on Borussia Dortmund's transfer targets and player futures

Borussia Dortmund sporting director Sebastian Kehl has addressed the recent reports that linked the club with midfielder Daichi Kamada and defender Ramy Bensebaini.

Kehl confirmed interest in the Borussia Monchengladbach defender but denied that personal terms have been agreed with Eintracht Frankfurt's midfielder Kamada.
Kehl stated in an interview with German public-service television broadcaster ZDF: "Those Kamada rumours are just rumours. However, I find him to be an interesting player. We already had a player from Japan: Shinji Kagawa. I believe that Japanese culture is exciting in general."
Regarding Bensebaini, Kehl admitted that Dortmund are interested but declined to provide any further information, and said, "There is nothing to report yet."
The future of 19-year-old midfield sensation Jude Bellingham was also discussed, with Kehl acknowledging the interest from some of Europe's biggest clubs but revealed that no talks have taken place yet.
"I can't say today what will happen in the summer. He might come and say, 'I want to do something new.' Or maybe he'll say 'I want to stay,' and then we'll extend the deal. I'll try. Why not?" said Kehl.
However, for now, Kehl's focus is on the futures of Marco Reus and Mats Hummels, both of whom are out of contract at the end of the season.
"A decision beyond the summer has not yet been made. We are not ready yet. There is a clear tendency. We will make a decision in the next few weeks, not in April or May," Kehl confirmed.
