Scotland captain Andy Robertson raises injury fears after leaving training early

Captain Andy Robertson was withdrawn early from Scotland's first training session in Germany ahead of Friday's Euro 2024 opener against the host country in Munich.

Steve Clarke's squad participated in an open training session at the Stadion am Groben in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, drawing hundreds of local spectators despite the rainy weather, eager to witness Scotland's preparations.

However, there was some concern as Liverpool's left-back Robertson had to exit early, and Hearts' striker Lawrence Shankland did not participate fully in the session.

Midfielder Stuart Armstrong returned to training after recovering from a muscle injury and underwent an individualized training program.

Clarke is already facing the absence of Lyndon Dykes, Ben Doak, Lewis Ferguson, Aaron Hickey, Nathan Patterson, and Jacob Brown.
