Real Madrid news: Los Blancos set sights on Borussia Dortmund and England star Jude Bellingham

Real Madrid are reportedly very interested in Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham.

The 19-year-old England international had an impressive 12 months playing for Dortmund and prior to the 2022/23 season and was linked with a move away from the Bundesliga side.

But Dortmund chose not to sell him last month despite interest by a number of big clubs.
A report a few days ago from Diario Sport, claimed Real Madrid are ready to fight with Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool over signing Bellingham, despite Dortmund's rumoured asking price of €100m.
Now Marca reports, the midfielder is Real Madrid's top target in 2023 and have already contacted Bellingham's representatives advising of their interest in acquiring the player.
As things now stand, Bellingham's contract at Dortmund will fall due in 2025, if he decides not to sign a new deal.
Despite media claims that Bellingham could reject a move to Liverpool in favour of Real Madrid next summer, pundit Gabby Agbonlahor thinks the Premier League side is where the youngster will end up playing.
"They've got a lot of options, Real Madrid. [Federico] Valverde is another one," Gabby Agbonlahor told Football Insider.
"Bellingham is not going to want to go somewhere where he's not guaranteed to start and I don't think he'd start in that Real Madrid midfield.
"He's probably looking at Liverpool and thinking 'I'm straight in, I'd play every game'.
"I think he would choose Liverpool. I don't think Real Madrid would go in for him, they've got enough cover in that position. I don't think they'd spend the big money on him.
"They might even want him to go to Liverpool and they get him afterwards, after four or five years," Agbonlahor added.
