Real Madrid could make PSG's Kylian Mbappe their highest-paid player

Real Madrid are poised to make Kylian Mbappe their highest-paid player upon his anticipated arrival at the club next month.

The striker has taken a significant stride towards joining Los Blancos, confirming his decision to part ways with Paris Saint-Germain upon the expiration of his contract.

Mbappe's choice not to renew his tenure at Parc des Princes marks a pivotal move as he prepares to make a free transfer to Real Madrid, elevating the excitement among fans and football enthusiasts alike.

While the official announcement of his transfer to Madrid is not anticipated until after their UEFA Champions League final showdown with Borussia Dortmund on June 1, discussions are actively underway regarding the specifics of the Frenchman's contract.

According to reports from French outlet RMC Sport, negotiations are ongoing, with a proposed three-year deal awaiting Mbappe in the Spanish capital.

However, the talks are delving into intricate details, particularly concerning Mbappe's representatives' pursuit of a more substantial share of image rights than what Real Madrid typically grants, in addition to a substantial salary package.

Mbappe is set to command a basic annual salary exceeding €21million, thereby surpassing the earnings of current top earners at the club such as Vinicius Junior and Jude Bellingham, consolidating his status as Real Madrid's premier player for the upcoming season.
