Real Madrid celebrate league title with one eye on Champions League final

Real Madrid  celebrated their  36th league title  with all the madridistas at the headquarters of the Comunidad de Madrid and the City Hall and at the Plaza de Cibeles.

During the event, the players expressed their joy on  Realmadrid TV  at having won the title and the potential trophy on June 1 in London.  

Rodrygo  said: "These are the best possible feelings. It's my third league title, this is a very special place and I want to come back here every year to meet all the madridistas. We're having a great season and it's almost perfect. It'll be perfect when we win the  Champions League . "We're feeling great, we're happy and I hope we continue like this."

Luka Modric said: "It's amazing. We have come here many times, but every time we come here it gives us enormous joy. I want to thank those who have come , support us and give us these moments. This  league title  wasn't easy because we had problems, but we showed incredible unity and character."

Dani Carvajal: "This is spectacular. We can celebrate it with our fans on a Sunday, with loads of children and now we can enjoy this  league title  because it has cost us a lot. "It has been a constant work during the whole season and now it's time to share the trophy with the fans."

Federico Valverde said: "I want to thank the people who have come. It's a very special day not only for them, but also for us. Hopefully we'll be able to experience this again in a few days. It shows what a great team we are, it shows how we're all rowing in the same direction and have the same mentality. A lot of our team-mates haven't had many minutes, we've needed them and they've come through in the best way possible. "Sometimes that's hard and we have to thank everyone for that."

Toni Kroos said: "This is a spectacular season and everyone has seen the difficulties we've had with injuries. That's why it's something special to win the title and it speaks volumes about the group. It's important to celebrate with the fans because they always support us throughout the year. They give their all for us and we give our all for them. We have less than three weeks left, we only have one important game to go and we'll prepare for it here. Hopefully we'll be celebrating again."

Vinicius Jr said: "We're delighted to be able to share an important moment with all the fans and this will give us a lot of energy for the  Champions League  final.

Joselu said: "I'm delighted for everything that this attracts and for the madridistas to experience days like today's. I hope we can repeat it soon. I hope we can repeat it in the near future.  Ancelotti 's management has been crucial. It was a tough start to the league because of injuries, but the manager knew how to manage it with a great job from the squad. The fans are the best. They're the most important thing on a day-to-day basis and they've always shown it. "We saw it in the Champions League semi-finals and throughout the year they have always been there.

Thibaut Courtois said: "For me it was a different season, but I had the support of the madridistas close to me. Celebrating with them and having played two games makes me happy. This is my personal trophy. The keys have been the defensive solidity, the comebacks in some games, the goals from  Jude  and  Vini , and that the team has been very good. We've That's what has made it possible for us to be here today. "Now comes the  Champions League  final and we have to finish it off and hopefully we'll come back here.

Lucas Vázquez said: "It's a great feeling to be able to enjoy this trophy with all the madridistas. The affection from everyone is hard to explain."
