Odds slashed on Raheem Sterling moving from Manchester City to Chelsea in the transfer window

Raheem Sterling England
Chelsea are now hot favourites to sign Manchester City forward Raheem Sterling who only has a year remaining on his contract.
Chelsea have emerged as front-runners to sign Manchester City forward Raheem Sterling.
Sterling looks unlikely to sign a new contract at the Etihad and it now appears City are willing to cash in on the England international.
A £60million fee has been mentioned for the 27-year-old who has just 12 months left on his current deal.
Sterling started just 23 of the champions' Premier League fixtures last season and is now rated a 5/4 shot to join Chelsea. He had been 12/1 with the bookies at the start of the month.
However, with the World Cup in Qatar on the horizon, Sterling is seeking assurances that he will not just be swapping one bench for another.
Real Madrid were thought to be leading the race for the former Liverpool man but have now drifted out to 8/1.
A return to London for the former Queens Park Rangers man had appeared a possibility earlier this month but then it was Arsenal who appeared to be his most likely destination.
Gunners boss Mikel Arteta enjoys a warm relationship with Pep Guardiola and Man City and is in desperate need of new forwards. However, the odds on Sterling moving to the Emirates are now 18/1.
Barcelona are also out at 18s.
The Catalan giants are confirmed admirers of the player and looked at him in January. Sterling was certainly keen on a move to Catalunya but it appears the chances have now receded. That is despite Barca set to move on Ousmane Dembele, Adama Traore, Memphis Depay and Martin Braithwaite.
Another Spanish club who are monitoring the situation are Atletico Madrid who have a vacancy created by the departure of Luis Suarez. They are priced at 22/1.
Tottenham (20/1) and Bayern Munich (22/1) complete the betting but both seem unlikely landing spots for Sterling.
Spurs would struggle to accommodate Sterling into their wage structure, while Bayern's pursuit of Sadio Mane would appear to rule out a move.
