Coach urges any wantaway Man Utd stars to play for their futures - whichever club that may be at.
Ralf Rangnick says the contractual uncertainty for some Manchester United stars is "not interesting" or worth discussing.
Paul Pogba, Jesse Lingard, Juan Mata and Edinson Cavani will all be free agents this summer.
Rangnick himself is unsure of his Man Utd future, with his current role as head coach set to come to an end at the end of the season and a consultancy role begin.
He, though, believes those out of contract this summer should be more motivated than anyone to finish the season strongly.
"In the end, it is a question of what do the players want and what the club sees, but these are not interesting topics and issues for us right now.
"Right now it is to get the best out of the season in the interests of the club, the fans, the current coaching staff and these players.
"Even if they want to leave at the end of the season, the chances to get a new offer from any club - including Manchester United - are much higher and bigger if they do well and play well and we are being successful."
Manchester United are currently in danger of allowing their season to slip away. They are off the pace in the race for the top four and crashed out of the FA Cup against Championship side Middlesbrough last week.
That leaves the Champions League as Man Utd's only remaining hopes for silverware this season, but Rangnick says they can still deliver their most important goal.
"To be honest, everybody inside the club, including myself, would be happy if we would finish fourth at the end of the season," Rangnick said.
"This is my full focus with my coaching staff - getting the best out of this season.
"Overall I think the team has developed, taken the next steps and this could be seen against Middlesbrough.
"I am absolutely convinced we are playing at a higher level than a couple of weeks ago."
