Championship-bound Leicester City will be looking to avoid an almighty spanking when they welcome Liverpool to the King Power Stadium (Sun, 1630 GMT).

Leicester snapped their nine-match losing run across all competitions when Caleb Okoli’s late goal secured a 2-2 draw against an out-of-form Brighton.

The test for Leicester is about to get a whole lot tougher as champions-in-waiting Liverpool arrive in Leicestershire looking to take another big step towards their 20th Premier League crown.

The Reds are looking to win back-to-back games for the first time since early March and a poor Leicester side is unlikely to get in their way. The only real question is how many goals they will score.

Liverpool have won five straight meetings with the Foxes across all competitions and considering how poor Ruud van Nistelrooy’s men have been, we could be in for a goal-heavy end to the weekend.

Here we pick out some of our best tips for this juicy Easter Sunday meeting, and if you put it into a Betway bet builder you’ll get odds of around 13/1.

Liverpool appear to have recovered from their spring hiccups which saw them lose three of four games, including the Champions League knockout clash with PSG and the EFL Cup final against Newcastle.

Last weekend, the Reds welcomed West Ham to Anfield and sealed the three points thanks to a late goal from Virgil van Dijk of all people.

Arne Slot needs just two more wins to get over the line and lift his first piece of silverware as Liverpool boss. The Dutchman and his team will undoubtedly feel confident about getting one of those wins against Leicester.

Speaking of the Foxes, they’ve had a disastrous time pretty much since Van Nistelrooy arrived at the club. Relegation to the Championship is nothing more than a formality as the club make plans for life in the second tier.

Before their draw with Brighton, Leicester endured a nine-match losing run across all competitions. What’s more, the Foxes failed to score a single goal in eight of those matches.

With the club struggling to rattle the net and with Liverpool closing in on the title, we can only see one possible outcome – a dominant win for the visitors.

Backing the Reds in the -1 handicap market proved a successful bet in four of the previous five meetings between the two clubs. Over 2.5 goals also landed in four of the previous five.

We’re also putting our eggs into the Mo Salah anytime goalscorer basket. The Egyptian started the new year by scoring nine goals across eight consecutive matches.

As things stand, Salah is on a five-match goalless run, but he has chipped in with an assist against West Ham last weekend.

Considering Leicester’s leaky defence, we’re backing Salah to break the mould and get on the scoresheet once again.

Another addition to our bet builder is for Liverpool to be awarded a penalty. The Reds have been given more penalties than any other team in the Premier League this season with nine.

Liverpool are expected to be the ones on the front foot in this one, and we’re backing them to get a spot kick at some point during the match.
