Leeds United transfer news: International midfielder Ilia Gruev becomes latest target

Leeds United were reportedly interested in signing Bulgarian international midfielder Ilia Gruev on Wednesday.
The 23-year-old Gruev is a Bulgarian international who plays in the Bundesliga for Werder Bremen, and is now on Leeds' radar according to reports.
He’s primarily a defensive midfielder having made 122 appearances in the role including 62 for his current club at senior level.
Leeds are still interested in a move for Glen Kamara but are also looking to provide cover for Ethan Ampadu.
Daniel Farke wants depth and needs a holding midfielder, a box-to-box player and a creative force to complete his midfield.
Gruev is thought to be valued at around €3 million according to the website Transfermarkt.
