  • Leeds United And Bournemouth In Battle For Goalkeeper Karl Darlow

Leeds United and Bournemouth in battle for goalkeeper Karl Darlow

Leeds United and Bournemouth are among the teams interested in Karl Darlow, according to reports.

Leeds United and Bournemouth are showing an interest in Karl Darlow with an official bid expected soon, according to reports.
The news first broke on Sky Sports News on Monday that the Whites and the Cherries have made contact and will likely follow it up with an official bid.
Darlow, 32, was Newcastle's number one during the 2016-17 and 2020-21 seasons but has failed to hold down a regular place.
He spent the second half of last season on loan at Championship side Hull City where he had to wait patiently for his debut.
Darlow made 12 appearances after an injury to Matt Ingram but was displaced for the final day of the season.
Hull boss Liam Rosenior has made it clear he'd like to see the stopper return but he now faces stiff competition.
Bournemouth can offer Premier League football but it's unlikely he'll be a number one, while Leeds should be able to give assurances he'll be Ilan Meslier's replacement.

Middlesbrough has also shown an interest but reports suggest they'll be unable to match the wages on offer elsewhere.
