West Ham to go ‘all out’ to sign Lingard; A potential Chelsea return for Lukaku?

Here’s the latest from the world of transfer gossip this Thursday, as Jesse Lingard is definitely a wanted man at West Ham United.

West Ham to pull out all the stops in bid to sign Lingard

Jesse Lingard has reignited his credentials since being on loan at West Ham this season. He has played himself back into the England fold and enjoyed regular football away from Manchester United.

Needless to say, the Hammers would like to retain his services and Sky Sports are reporting that West Ham are going to do everything in their power to sign the £30m-rated England international.

There's no option to buy in his current loan deal, with Gary Neville saying that Man United might even want to bring Lingard back into the fold at Old Trafford - but the Hammers will still do their best to sign the playmaker.

In the immediate term, West Ham are still challenging for a place in the Premier League's top four, and Sky Bet have them as an 11/4 shot to be in the Champions League places come season's end.

Chelsea to launch sensational bid for a Romelu Lukaku reunion?

Chelsea have reportedly made Romelu Lukaku their target to bring back to Stamford Bridge in the summer, should their bid for Erling Haaland be unsuccessful.

Calciomercato in Italy are reporting that the Blues could be willing to pay Inter Milan up to €100m (£86.3m) to bring Lukaku back to the club in the transfer window.

The Belgium international still has three years to run on his current contract with Inter, and spent the majority of his time as a Chelsea player away from the club on loan, having made just 15 appearances for the Blues and failing to score in those games.

The bookmakers aren't convinced that Lukaku will move away from San Siro yet, however. Unibet have him priced at 1/10 to be an Inter player at the end of the summer transfer window, with a move to Chelsea as a 14/1 shot.

Liverpool and Chelsea competing for highly-rated Dutch midfielder

Reports in Italy suggest that Liverpool and Chelsea will be going head-to-head to sign Ajax midfielder Ryan Gravenberch in the summer.

The 18-year-old is said by Gazzetta Dello Sport (via the Express) to be a replacement at Anfield for the potentially-outgoing Gini Wijnaldum, whose Liverpool contract is up at the end of the season.

Ajax have reportedly put a £30m price tag on the teenage holding midfielder, who made his first three appearances for the senior Netherlands national team in the last international break in March.
Gravenberch has been a regular for Ajax in the Eredivisie this season, and Chelsea are said to be competing with the Reds for his signature.

Both Liverpool and Chelsea are in direct competition to finish in the top four in the Premier League this season, priced at 10/11 and 11/10 respectively to do so.
