Dortmund's Youssoufa Moukoko 'incredibly proud' after World Cup call-up for Germany

Borussia Dortmund's teenage sensation Youssoufa Moukoko is over the moon with the news of his inclusion in the Germany World Cup squad.

The 17-year-old turned heads last weekend when he broke a Bundesliga record by becoming the youngest player to reach 10 goals, in the 3-0 win over Bochum.
And now the determined young hitman has reached yet another impressive milestone by receiving the call-up to represent the German national team at the 2022 World Cup.
"I just can't believe it. At this point last year, I felt like I was out of the picture, struggling with many injuries and little playing time. Still, I tried to stay positive and believe in myself," Moukoko shared via his Instagram account.
"I knew what I could achieve, and the fact that I'm going to the World Cup, a goal that players dream about their whole career, makes me incredibly proud.
"All the hard work has paid off and I'm just incredibly happy and overwhelmed.
"I would like to say a special thank you to my family, Edin Terzic, Sebastian Geppert, the entire Borussia Dortmund coaching team and my agent Patrick Williams - thank you for believing in me so much.
"Thank you also to my teammates and the fans of Borussia Dortmund and everyone who has supported and accompanied me for years. I love you."
