Crystal Palace sign midfielder Naouirou Ahamada and Arsenal's Albert Sambi Lokonga

Crystal Palace finally made some January transfer window signings on Tuesday by adding midfielder Naouirou Ahamada and Arsenal midfielder Albert Sambi Lokonga to their ranks.

Ahamada has signed a three-year-deal with the Eagles which showcases the faith they have in the midfielder.
The 20-year-old France youth international began his career in the Juventus academy before moving to Stuttgart two years ago. During his time in Germany, he was among the best players at the club.

Ahamada has been deployed all across the centre of midfield this season and will add depth to Patrick Vieira's squad. Speaking to the club's website, the midfielder claimed he is "very happy to have joined this club. It is an amazing club, and I'm very excited to get started."

When at Stuttgart, he was a regular starter and was often a guaranteed name on the teamsheet. Vieira will be hoping he can carry over his form throughout the remainder of the season.

Ahamada wants to prove to his new manager and team-mates that he has the quality needed to compete for a starting position.

"I want to show my quality, and I want to help this team with my quality," he said. "I want to play games, work hard, train hard and progress, and help the team."

Palace chairman Steve Parish said: "We feel that his profile, skillset and character make him an ideal fit for Crystal Palace and the demands that await for him in the Premier League."

Palace have also completed a loan deal for Arsenal midfielder Albert Sambi Lokonga until the end of the season.
The Eagles confirmed the 23-year-old's move on their official website.
Sambi Lokonga joined Arsenal from Anderlecht in a £15million deal in July 2021 and has made 39 appearances for the Gunners in all competitions.
