  • Christian Eriksen Verbally Agrees To Join Manchester United, With A Three Year Deal Being Prepared

Christian Eriksen verbally agrees to join Manchester United, with a three-year deal being prepared

After a slow start to the transfer window, Manchester United are closing in on their first signing of the summer, with Christian Eriksen close to signing a three-year deal.

After interest from Tottenham, Brentford and Manchester United, Christian Eriksen has reportedly agreed to join the Red Devils this summer.

The 30-year-old made a remarkable comeback to football last season, just months after suffering a cardiac arrest at Euro2020 with Denmark.

Eriksen joined Brentford on a short-term contract, and shone for the Bees as they climbed to 13th in their maiden top-flight campaign.

Now with his Brentford contract expired, a number of teams were vying for the attacking midfielder, and it seems Manchester United have won the race.

It is believed Eriksen has verbally agreed to join Erik ten Hag's side, with a three-year deal being prepared.
But while United inch closer to acquiring Eriksen, it's possible that he won't be their first signing of the summer, with Tyrell Malacia pictured at Carrington on Monday morning.
The Dutch full-back is close to completing a £12million deal from Feyenoord, after the Red Devils hijacked Lyon's move for the 22-year-old.
Malacia was at the Carrington training complex to complete his medical, and is set to be announced next week.
United then plan to fly out to Thailand ahead of their pre-season opener against arch-rivals Liverpool on July 12.
